Bolsa Chica Conservancy Service Day

Enjoy the Great Outdoors while helping to restore the Bolsa Chica Wetlands! Join us for our monthly service day every last Saturday of the month. Service includes restoration of native plant communities through non-native plant removal, and cleanup efforts. Don't forget to bring: Drinking water, wear closed toed shoes, layered clothing you don't mind getting dirty, and protection from the sun.

Artists Village Open House
Santa Ana
First Saturday of the Month
Downtown Santa Ana comes alive with arts the first Saturday of each month when galleries, theatres, artists and performers in the Artists Village host a monthly Open House for the public. This free event attracts as many as 1500 individuals who come from throughout Los Angeles and Orange County to walk more than 150 participating studios and galleries located in historic buildings in the heart of downtown Santa Ana. |

Photography Workshops with Mark Robert Halper
Mark Robert Halper currently offers a three day intensive called Photographing People for Publication out of his Los Angeles studio. These workshops are offered about three times a year and tend to fill up a couple of months in advance. Mark is passionate about everything he does. A commercial photographer for over fifteen years, Mark has built a successful career in a very competitive field by bringing a consistent vision to a very diverse client base that includes corporate, advertising, editorial and entertainment. He thrives on the variety in the projects he tackles. Mark has been an instructor at the Santa Fe Workshops. the Julia Dean Workshops and at UCLA Extension. |

Starr Ranch Sanctuary

Biannual “Family Nature Workshops” on Saturdays are offered free for families who come to Starr Ranch to participate in workshops that include a sampling of their ecology programs, nature walks, and programs by guest biologists. During week-end “Wildlife Research Camps” families have fun together doing outdoor research with our biologists during day and evening programs.

Barbershop Harmony Society
Anywhere from 20 to 40 men gather every Monday at 7 pm to learn how to 'ring chords' and make great four-part harmony. Generally familiar to those attending, the songs are great to listen to for guests and 'listening'loos' who are welcome to drop in.
Belonging to the International Barbershop Harmony Society, the San Clemente Chapter is seeking new members and is rapidly becoming a part of the vibrant San Clemente arts scene.
