Lisa Muehle
Founder and Director of the
Cambridge SAT Colloquium (7th – 11th grade levels) Lisa Muehle has been a professional tutor and test preparation specialist
since 1979. The breadth and depth of her formal education, coupled with her distinctive explanatory style, make her a unique SAT author and instructor.
Ms. Muehle is the author of Strategies for Success on the
SAT: Critical Reading & Writing Sections and
Strategies for Success on the SAT: Mathematics Section.
Ms. Muehle attended Brigham Young University on a full, four-year Spencer W. Kimball Scholarship based on academics and leadership skills. She was an honors program student throughout her college education. Ms. Muehle earned her Bachelor's degree in English in 1979, graduating with High Honors.
Ms. Muehle founded the
Cambridge SAT Colloquium, a long-range SAT training program for 7th – 11th grade students, in 1992. The Colloquium is among the first long-range SAT training programs in the nation.
Three of Ms. Muehle’s Colloquium students have posted perfect SAT I scores. Because of the unique, long-term nature of the Colloquium program and its phenomenal score results, Lisa Muehle and the

Lauren
Meggison, M.A., M.F.A., Ph.D.
Founder and Director of the Cambridge Lyceum For Elementary Enrichment & Test Prep (4th, 5th & 6th grade levels)
Lauren Meggison,
M.A., M.F.A., Ph.D., received her doctorate in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Irvine, where she also earned dual masters degrees. Her M.A. in Comparative Literature was accompanied by a M.F.A. from U.C. Irvine's nationally respected writing program. Her B.A. degree from U.C. Santa Barbara was earned in only two years with a dual major in English and Art.
Dr. Meggison has extensive teaching experience and has taught a wide variety of literature, writing, grammar & composition, and humanities courses at U.C.I. She has published extensively, and was also the recipient of the distinguished Chancellor's Patent Fund Award for Archival Research at Yale University.
Dr. Meggison is also the originator and Director of the
Cambridge Lyceum For Elementary Enrichment & Test Prep, an accelerated multi-subject after-school program (4th, 5th, and 6th grade levels) that serves as the precursor to the
Colloquium Test Prep Course for the SAT (7th – 11th grade levels).
