(4th,
5th
& 6th graders)
The
Cambridge Lyceum For Elementary Enrichment & Test Prep was developed by Dr. Lauren Meggison to assist students in achieving their
full academic potential. The Cambridge Lyceum’s condensed "Renaissance" curriculum
enhances school and test-taking performance without competing with existing school commitments. Lyceum homework assignments consist of completing work begun in class (20 – 30 minutes per week).
Classes are held once-a-week after school or in the early evening during the academic year (September through June). Students benefit from exposure to other bright students, interesting course material, effective learning techniques for cooperative learning as well as for independent thinking.
Students learn to think inductively, deductively, creatively, and scientifically.
The Cambridge Lyceum For Elementary Enrichment & Test Prep also develops skills that contribute to improved performance on standardized tests and entrance exams.
